Harrington In the News
The Harrington Library Media Center recieved a gift from the Broncos and US Bank of a Broncos Reading Corner. We were given a new table, chairs, browser bins, and lots of new books. Way to go Broncos!
Harrington received a Kids Care Award Grant from the Denver Newspaper Agency. With the money we were given we were able to buy fabric and make 50 blankets for homeless teens. Our own Demetrius Graham wrote an article about it for the Kids Section of the Rocky Mountain News.
Harrington created a Super School News episode for the Rocky Mountain PBS Channel 12. The newscast was written by anchors Lorena Luna, Stephon Webber, Reporters Abigail Acevedo and Meshack Logan and Writers Justine Sanchez and Trinidad Mendez.
